Before you send me the equipment you have to call me or send me an e-mail to let me know what kind of equipment it is and what problem you are having with it. Our Policies: 1. Anything not picked up/shipped within 90 days is considered to be abandoned and becomes property of the shop. 2. If you get arrested or are otherwise taken out of circulation and have equipment in this shop, have a friend or family member contact me so that the piece of equipment is not thrown out. 3. Excuses (for not picking up / shipped or paying for equipment within 90 days) such as 'my car was broken' or the like are meaningless to me. Call me to make some sort of arrangements. 4. Bench rate is $45.00 per hour. 5. If you leave/send something to be repaired and the total repair charge is $90.00 or less, the unit WILL be repaired and you will have to pay for the repair to get the unit back. I WILL NOT remove replacement parts so that you can have your unit back with no charge. If the unit is not worth at least $90.00, don't leave/send it for repair. 6. If you can not afford to pay a $90.00 repair charge, do not leave/send in the unit for repair. I've got enough junk in this shop. 7. If the repair charges are more than $90.00, I will give you an estimate before repairing the unit. If the estimate is declined, there will be a $45.00 / plus shipping charge but you still have to pick up/ pay for shipping back, pay for the equipment within 30 days if you want it back. 8. If you bring/send in a unit for someone else, 'you' are responsible for paying for the repair. I will not accept anything else from you if you already have something in the shop that hasn't been picked up/shipping paid for (even if the unit belongs to someone else). 9. Repaired equipment has a 30-day warranty. If the equipment has been improperly reinstalled, the warranty will be void. Ask me any questions that you may have about. 10. The warranty covers the labor. Don't think that you can do a poor job of reinstalling the unit and any damage you do will be covered. Be very careful reinstalling the unit. Again... Ask questions. Harrisburg, PA 17111-5115 Shipping instructions: The better way to pack the equipment is to use the original box, but if you don't have that box you have to pack the equipment in a double box and be very careful with the package. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE IF YOU DO NOT PACK IT RIGHT. It is a good idea that you put an insurance, and delivery confirmation or receipt confirmation when you send it through USPS. With UPS or FEDEX you will not have any problems, because they have tracking numbers, but you have to get insurance for the equipment. If you are close to my location you are welcome to bring the equipment, but you must call first.
